About FitForTool

FitForTool is a directory for vibe coders and agent builders. The question is never "what is the best AI?" It is "which tool should I use for this job?" Coding agents, MCP servers, voice, video, meeting notes, local models: each one is its own test and its own ranking.

The score is a public 0–100 FitScore from a hands-on run. An agent runs the published task where that is how the product works. A person reviews the result before it is published. Failures stay in the write-up. The method and the no-pay-to-rank rule are part of the product, not a footer disclaimer.

Fifteen jobs are listed. The first published scores are the provisional coding-agents ranking from 5 Nov 2026: Claude Code 94, OpenCode 93, Codex CLI 90, Cline 88, Google Antigravity 79. Every other candidate stays not yet tested. Inventing a number for a tool we have not run would break the only thing the site is for.

The site is at fitfortool.com. A weekly note is sent with Resend once that account is connected. Until then, signup stores nothing.

Corrections, retests, and ordinary feedback go through contact. We do not sell rank.
